Where are you based?
We are based in Uniontown, Ohio, USA. We also have a South African outlet that is based in Randfontein, Gauteng Province.
How long have you been reborning?
We have been reborning baby dolls since 2012 - and still learning!
Do you participate in shows?
We have participated very successfully in several exhibitions, fairs and shows, both in South Africa and in the USA.
How many dolls have you made to date?
As of June 2023, we have successfully made, repaired and restored well over 200 baby dolls, some of which were family heirlooms passed down over several generations.
How long does it take you to make a doll?
The average time we spend on completing a single baby doll from start to finish is roughly between 80 and 100 hours - depending on the kit size and the specifications involved.
Why do you have a eight week delivery time frame?
We are mindful of factors such as our current workload, kit availability, shipping times, possible time delays in obtaining parts or components before we can actually start working on a kit. We factor this into what we deem to be a reasonable delivery time. Typically, we have found six to eight weeks to be a safe estimated delivery goal to work with.
Can you make a doll that looks like one made by another artist?
It has been proven over and over that no two baby dolls can ever be exactly replicated, not even by the same artist. We cannot, neither do we want to, duplicate someone else's work.
Why are your baby dolls so expensive?
As with anything you may purchase, quality work always costs more than careless, rushed work. Sculptors put a lot of work into their creations, and we as artists, put a lot of time and effort into bringing them to life as realistically as possible. We also do not approve of, nor support any counterfeit, cheap or knock-off products and high quality, authentic components go into the production of every baby doll leaving our nursery.
Do you offer discounts?
We offer discount when more than one reborn baby doll is ordered at the same time.
Can I get a free baby?
We do not offer free baby dolls, unless it is directly connected to raising funds or awareness for a charity or cause close to our hearts that make us WANT to sponsor a doll as a prize.
I would love to have a custom baby doll, but I cannot afford it.
We have very simple and straight forward lay-away plans available that will work with any size budget. Please contact us for more information and guidance before giving up hope on having your dream baby made the way you desire him/her to look like - you may be pleasantly surprised!
